Learn Filmmaking With Christine W. Chen
Stop Waiting for Permission.
Make Your Film.
You don't need film school or the right
connections to start making movies.
You need practical tools, a clear plan,
and the confidence to begin.
I'm Christine, an independent filmmaker
and DGA 1st Assistant Director.
I've spent years working on sets and
bringing my own projects to life.
Now I'm sharing what I've learned
so you can make yours.
Filmmaking Isn't a Secret Club.
I didn't go to film school. I learned by making films, working with crews, solving problems, and figuring things out along the way.
That's why I created Get Reelisms: to make filmmaking education practical, accessible, and free from unnecessary gatekeeping.
Whether you're working on your first short or trying to finish a project you've been dreaming about, I want to help you get it made.
